A Pretty Website That Does Not Convert Is Just Expensive Art
We see it all the time: a gorgeous website that everyone on the team loves, and a conversion rate that makes the founder quietly cry. Looking good and working well are two different things, and good UI/UX is where they meet.
Most "ugly" conversion problems are actually clarity problems. People cannot find the button, do not understand the offer, or hit one too many steps and give up. No amount of nice gradients fixes that. What fixes it is mapping how real users move through the page and removing every bit of friction in their way.
This is also why we prototype before building. A clickable prototype lets you feel the flow and catch the confusing bits while they are cheap to change, instead of discovering them after launch when fixes cost ten times more. It is the least glamorous step and the one that saves the most money.
Beautiful and effective are not enemies, they just need design that starts from the user, not the decoration. If your traffic is fine but conversions are not, that is usually a UX issue. Here is our UI/UX design and prototyping service if you want a site that earns its keep.
