This company profile video was made for PT Agincourt Resources, a member of the Astra group that explores, mines and processes gold and silver at the Martabe gold mine in North Sumatra. It was made in 2025 and runs 4 minutes 55 seconds, with Indonesian subtitles.

PopOut handled the video shooting and drone footage across the mine: the Purnama, Ramba Joring and Barani open pits, the 7 million tonne a year carbon-in-leach processing plant, the laboratory, control room and smelting, and environmental and community work around the mine. Through video editing, all of it became one story about production, environment and community.

The challenge

Agincourt Resources wanted one video explaining all of its activity to the public and stakeholders: three open pits, the processing plant, efficiency gains through the Martabe Improvement Program, environmental and biodiversity management, and programmes for nearby communities. A large, technical mining operation had to stay easy for a general audience to follow.

The solution

The video moves from the big picture down to detail. Drone shots show the pits, the plant and the surrounding forest, then the camera goes inside the processing plant, the laboratory and the gold smelting. The environmental section covers the Biodiversity Advisory Panel, wildlife camera traps, a native plant nursery, mangrove planting, reclamation and water treatment. The community section shows health, economic development and cultural programmes, including farmers and textile makers, which the narration says reach more than 31,000 beneficiaries.

The results

The result is a 4 minute 55 second company profile that brings Agincourt Resources' gold production, environmental management and social contribution at the Martabe gold mine into one story, closing on an aerial view of the mine and the Agincourt Resources, Member of Astra logo.
