HKI Bisa, Break the Impossible

This company profile video was made for PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI), the subsidiary of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) that has built roads and bridges since 2015. This is the short version, running 1 minute 17 seconds, with Indonesian narration and English subtitles.

It combines drone footage of HKI projects in Sumatra, including the Binjai–Pangkalan Brandan, Padang–Sicincin, Pekanbaru–Bangkinang, Bengkulu–Taba Penanjung and Palembang–Indralaya toll roads and the Sei Wampu bridge, with video shooting at the office, in the field and at its community programme sites. Through video editing, each location is labelled on screen.

The challenge

HKI needed a short company profile that shows the scale of its work, toll roads and bridges across several provinces in Sumatra, along with its people and its social commitments. All of it had to fit in just over a minute, anchored by the company's vision of being “Indonesia's Leading Integrated Construction Company”.

The solution

The video opens on aerial shots of toll roads under construction and in operation, then moves into the HKI office lobby and a team meeting to introduce the company. The sustainability section shows its social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) programmes, such as repairs to a primary school in North Sumatra, a suspension bridge in Lampung and facilities for an Islamic boarding school. It closes on the field team walking together and joining hands, before the HKI logo appears in three dimensions.

The results

The result is a 1 minute 17 second short company profile covering HKI's projects, office, team and social programmes, closing on the line “HKI Bisa, Break the Impossible”. Its length suits social media, exhibitions and presentation openers.
